New Version Development
This is the most common and cost-effect way of handing off your software to a new developer. Many of our most successful relationships began with the development of the next version of a piece of custom software. When provided with an executable and a description of new features requested, these projects can avoid a length spec writing process. Access to the source code of the previous version will further speed up development, but is not required.
Software Repair
Sometimes you can't afford to wait for the next version to hand off your project. Software bugs can be critical to your business. We can perform QA and fix the bugs in your software as a separate project, or in combination with new feature development, depending on your time requirements.
Occasionally, a consistent presence of bugs is the result of poorly written code. If this is the case, we will suggest that portions of the code be re-organized and/or re-written from scratch. This code refactoring will decrease the cost of software maintenance and new version development.
