Mercury has been named Development Partner by Digidesign, a division of Avid Technology, Inc., in 2007. Although developing Pro Tools plug-ins since 2003 the newly awarded official status of Digidesign Development Partner adds Mercury to a very short list that can handle complex plug-in requirements both under Windows (Mercury is Microsoft Gold Certified Partner) and Mac OS (Mercury is a member of ADC, Apple Developer Connection). Digidesign is the leading manufacturer of computer-based digital audio production systems. Their ProTools digital audio workstation has been recognized as the industry standard for digital audio production.
