Sales Executive - Mobile Software Development and IT Outsourcing
Job Description
Mercury Development is currently seeking a highly successful, business-to-business Sales Executive with a passion for mobile development and a vision for how it can be marketed to our target customers. The person in this role will be responsible for selling contracts that encompass all services offered by Mercury Development. This position is focused on establishing relationships with companies in a variety of industries throughout the tri-state area. The Sales Executive must be skilled at initiating and establishing long-lasting, on-going relationships with executive-level contacts. Candidate must engage in heavy prospecting, qualifying, and strategizing to develop opportunities and close business. In addition, the Sales Executive must be focused on continuously improving his or her understanding of all aspects of Mercury’s products and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Selling mobile solutions to start-ups and Fortune 1000 clients in the tri-state area
- Ability to learn, understand, and articulate the breadth of Mercury’s products
- Ability to understand customers’ industry and core business processes
- Analyze prospects’ needs and uncover business challenges
- Participate in development and execution of winning sales strategies
- Own a substantial revenue target and be responsible for steady annual growth
- Understand mobile technology and Offshore Outsourcing platforms to craft solutions (w/ pre-sales teams) to match customer needs.

Qualifications:
- MBA or MS Desired, Bachelor’s Required
- SME in the Mobile software or Outsourcing space
- Minimum 5 years experience in business-to-business IT services sales experience, Healthcare sales experience a plus
- Demonstrated capability of achieving IT efficiencies by reducing IT spend using innovative strategies.
